YOU’VE BEEN HOLDING IT TOGETHER IS AVAILABLE NOW

When 'I'm Fine' Isn't Working Anymore

You are still getting everything done. Showing up, following through, holding it together. But somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself and you cannot remember exactly when that happened.

IF THIS IS YOU

Something is off. It has been for a while. The words for it just have not come yet.

Things are running. People are taken care of. Responsibilities are handled. But internally something has gone quiet, and that is not something anyone else can see.

Handing things off was never really an option. Not because help was not available but because doing it yourself was the only way to know it would be done right. That stopped being a decision a long time ago. It just became who you are.

This book was written for that moment. It’s not a breakdown but the moment before it. That moment when nothing is visibly wrong but something has to change inside.

It's not about doing less, but about finally being honest about what keeping it all together has cost.

WHAT THIS BOOK COVERS

For the person who has been holding it together for everyone else and is ready to be honest about what that has cost.

  • Why accomplishment can still feel hollow
  • How to hear what the body has been trying to say
  • What it actually means to carry responsibility that was never yours
  • Why asking for help feels harder than doing everything yourself
  • The difference between what is genuinely wanted and what has just become routine
  • What honesty looks like when keeping the peace has been the priority

THE BLISS FRAMEWORK

BLISS

The BLISS Framework is the practical system inside this book developed through years of clinical work and used with real clients to move from constant functioning to intentional living.

Built for ordinary days.
The ones where life is already full and there is nothing left to give.
Not something to complete.
Something to come back to.

The full framework lives inside the book,
The BLISS Visual Toolkit, included with every copy, gives you a way to return to it in real life.

INSIDE THE BOOK

The book moves through four parts.

Part One: Recognition

The mirror. The moment of seeing the pattern clearly. Something is off. It is not imagined.

Part Two: Understanding

Where did this begin. Why does needing anything feel like weakness. This is where the patterns, the conditioning, and the identity built around never falling apart are named.

Part Three: The Practice

This is where BLISS lives. Not as a concept but as something that can actually be used.

Part Four: Living It

This is where it comes together. What changes is not your life. It is how present you finally are inside it.

Each chapter includes reflection prompts. Space to sit with what is true, not pressure to respond to it.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cherise Small, LCSW
Licensed Therapist · Founder, The Healing Point Therapy & Wellness

Cherise Small is a licensed therapist with over a decade of clinical experience and the founder of The Healing Point Therapy & Wellness. A Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women alumna and a voice heard on Call Me CEO, The Daring Well, and Black Girls Can Talk, she has spent years in session with people who were accomplished, capable, and privately running on empty.

This book came from that work. And from her own life. She knows what it is to be the one others depend on while quietly losing touch with yourself and what it actually takes to come back from that. She lived it before she wrote it.

Cherise creates space for honest conversations about the emotional weight people are rarely given language for. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical expertise and lived experience, speaking directly to the moment when holding it together stops being enough.

She is the author of You've Been Holding It Together.
