Cherise Small is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from Philadelphia, PA. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California and provides therapy to individuals in both Pennsylvania and California. Cherise holds two bachelors degrees and a Masters degree. Bachelors of Science in Sociology from The University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Bachelors of Social Work from Salisbury University. She then went to pursue her Master Degree from Widener University with a specialization in Trauma.
Cherise has worked with many populations and in various settings including hospitals (Dialysis, HIV/AIDs, Acute Rehab, & Surgery), community based, outpatient mental health clinics, school based programs, and inpatient psychiatric settings. Her treatment areas include; chronic illness, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. Cherise possesses the unique skills of relatability, compassion, understanding coupled with clinical knowledge and expertise that will support you and provide you with the tools to cope with every day stress.
In addition to being a change agent and advocate, Cherise enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys connecting with nature, brunch with friends, and daily meditation.
